■ The Washtenaw County Y. P. S. C. E. conveiiüon was held Friday in Trinity Lutheran church, this city. The church was beautifully decorated for the occasion. Over the choir arch was suspended in large evergreen letters the word " Welcome" and just beueath it hung the C. E. monogram. The address of welcome was delivered by Mrs. R. E. Staebler. The attendance at the conventiou was large and enthusiastic. Including the representatives from the societies in this city there were f ully 150 Endeavorers present, from 70 to 80 being from the societies outside of the city. In the county are 19 senior and 10 junior societies, with a membership of about 1,000. In the evening the address was delivered by Rev. VV. K. Spencer, of Adrián, who is the president of the Michigan O. E. Union. The address was plain, simple and practical, full of thought and inspiration for every Endeavorer. The keynotes of the address were "Called, Chosen, Faithful," which he gave as a motto for the 60,000 Eudeavorers of Michigan for the next six mooths.
