Delbert Fohey, of Whitmoitf Lake, has puiobased a new "bibe." Miss Josepbine Lyons and her brother, of Fentcm, were tbe guests of Miss Rosa Burke over Snnday. The entertainment giveu April 14, by Rose E. Burke was a great success. A laige orowd was present. Fine mnsic by the clab wus furnished. Mi. Lyons, of Fenton, sang a solo which was pleasing to all. The gradnates were Lbla Flintoft, Clyde Fliutoft, Geo. Buike, Leo Burke, Clara Paul and Edward Keboe. Much credit is dne to Miss Bnrke. Another oorrespondoot speaking of this entertainment saye : Miss Rose Bnrke bas proved berself a teaoher of ao common power. Sbe begau ber oareer as a teacher six years ago wben ahe was but J6 years of age. Eacta year was a snooessful year for the obildren she presided over. Tbis year Miss Barke taught Distriot No. 5, Northfield, sbe liad a class of six araduates. Tbö entertainment giveu Thursdny, April 14, in honor of her graduales sbowed the labor sbe would undergo in order t.i eoconrage the cbildren in their work. The obildren were well traiued. The musio was fnrnisbed by "The Brigbt Ligbt Club," of Northfleld, which was bighly appreciated. Mr. Lyon, of Fentou, favored the audieüce with a bass solo aDd Commissioner Lister spoke favorably on ednoation.
