Patriotic Action

At a regular meeting of Weleh Post, Tuesday evening, the adjutant was instructed to send a petition, signed by the offlcers of the post, to the mayor, asking him to cali a public meeting for the purpose of raisingfuuds to take care of the families of those who have gone to the front, and thus insure them against any chance of suffering, from the absence of those upon whom they were dependent. Comrades Sessions, Childs and J. T, Jacobs were appointed eulisting officers for the Reserve Corps, and will open offices at their respective places of business for the puf pose of enrolling the names of all those desirous of enlisting in that body, so that the nation will have a reserve forcé to cali upon in case of need, without the necessary delay occasioned by enlisting men after a cali is issued.
