Listed Corn
An Iowa farmer gives his reasons in Farm, Field and Fireside for considering listed corn profltable: Because more corn can be raised per acre tban cbecked corn. Because a man can tend a tbird more at least than be can of checked corn. Because be can shuck more listed corn than obecked corn, beoause it stands straight and it is less Hable to blow down or tangle owing tothe braĆw roots being in the ground instead of being above the gronnd, as is usual in cheoked corn. If you wish to cut your corn with a cutter, it is another great advantage, because it does not pull up as easy as cbecked corn.
