Miss Cora Darling is sood going to Omaha for a long stay witb friends. Henry Walters and Geo. Kimball are in Ann Aiboi, working at mason woik. John O'Brien, son of Mrs. Catberine O'Brien, bas been dangerously siok, but is ninob improved. Willis bas an artist by tbe name of C. H. Tremsar, wbo takes gnod piotares and be is busy day and night nntil 12 o'olook. Mrs. Geo. Rnssell is trying to master a bike, but sbe bas several navy blue spots wbioh inform ns the bike knows bis business yet. Tbe entertainment at tbe K. O. T. M. hall in Whittaker, given by the L. O. T. M. was qaite a sucoess, althougb ratber late in tbe season. How war bas dulled the beauty of spring. It brings sbadows of dead and djiag, great victories and losses. May God help the light to win. Mrs. Chas. Greenman was chosen delégate, witb Mrs. W. Ballard altérnate, from Willis Hive, No. 687, to attend tbe oonveution of tbe L. O. T. M. in Detroit in June soma time.
