Mr. Scribner of the department of agriculture, has recently collected som vry interesting facts about American grasses. He says: "We have bttef fTasses and a greater variety of them native to our soil than we can ever get from Europe." Of clovers we have BO less than sixty species, all native to the country, and there is an equal Eumber of different "blue grasses," besides twenty "grazing grasses" and a great variety of others.
