An Old Pioneer Gone

David M. Uhl, father of Edwin M. Uhl, ex-erabassador to Qermany and an oíd pioneer of Washtenaw county, died at bis borne in Ypsilanti, Monday rnorning, after a Hngering illness of several mouths' dnration, aged 83 years. Until a few years ago he was engaged in farrning and at one time owned one of the best stook farms in the connty. He was bom in Genesee oounty, New York, but moved to Ypsilanti over 50 years ago. He bas lived a retired Hfe siDoe tbe death of bis wife abont 10 years ago. Besides Edwin M. bis otber son John Uhl survives hiru.
