It is not geiierally known that the ranilla bean is the costliest bean on eartb. It grows wild and isgathered by tbe natives in Papantla and Misantla, Mexico. When bronght from the forests, these beans are sold at the rate ol L2 5s. per 1,000, bnt when dried and cnred they oost aboutL2 5s. per pound. Tbey are mainly used by drnggists. -
