Key West, Fia., June 7.- The UniteJ States collier Pompey, formerly the British steamer Harlech, has arrlved here from Norfolk, Va., with her commander, Lieutenant Commander E. W. Sturdy dead on board, and Lieutenant K. C. Norton in charge of the snip. Commander Sturdy was not feeling well when the Pompey sailed on Friday evening. He was taken sick off Cape Henry, soon afterwards became unconscious and died. There was no physician on board. He was a native of Malne, 51 years of age and had been in the service thirty-six years. The family of the ceceased live at Annapolis.
