"Split" Anderson, the negro who slashed William MoCnrdy with a razor at Ypsilaufci some two weeks ago was arrested last week and bronght back to Ypsilanti. He was arraigned in Jnstice Childs' oourt, Friday, and on waiving exaniination was bonnd over to the oironit oourt on the charge of assanlt and battery with intenfc to do great bodily barra less than the orime of mnrder. In default of the $1,000 bail whioh he was reqnired to give Anderson was taken to the oonnty jail. Bai] was fnrnisbed Wednesday and he was released.
