The deaths by months were as follows: June 9, July 9, August 6, September 5, October 6, November 9, December 14, January 12, February 9, March, 15, April 5, May 8. By localities, Ann Arbor city 21, Ann Arbor town 7, Ypsilanti city 19, Ypsilanti town 3, Salem 3, Northfield 5, Dexter 3, Webster 3, Lyndon 3, Sylvan 5, Lima 1, Scio 9, Pittsfield 5, Lodi 1, Freedom 2, Sharon 3, Manchester ti.Bridgewater 1, Saline 2, York 4, Augusta 2, witii the township of Superior wanting. By sex, 53 were males and 55 females. As usual the years resident are too indefinite to warrant any deductions to be drawn from them of value. However we may report that 17 are given as having a residence of 60 years and upwards, the oldest being Miss Alzina Morton, of Ypsilanti town, who died on her 70th birthday being a life long resident of the county. The vice president of Webster, Mr. Isaac Terry, reported his township and I can feel that one locality is reported in full. Would that every part of the county was reported in full, then we should have records of much permanent value. All of which is respectfully submitted. Wm. H. Lay - Necrologist.
