Massachusetts Prohibitionists

Wcrcester, Mass., June 11. - Ihe state Prohibition convention nominated the following ficket: Governor, Samuel P. Shapleyof1 Boston; lieutenant governor. John L. Kilborn of Lee; sacretary of the commonwealth, Henry A. Inman of Newton; state treasurer, Herbert M. Small of Baldwinsville; state auditor, Walter E. Sanford of Attleboro; attorney general, Walcott Hamlin of Amherst. The platform adopted recognizes woman suffrage, among other things. There was some opposition to the adoption of this plank.
