The Electric Road To Lansing
While the Lansing, Dexter & Ann Albor electrio railway has not beeu making rapid progresa of late, still the directors are pushing the road. The question whioh retarda the work is the raising of the required bonuses. The road oannot built on wind and its length is snch as to reqnire a large amonut of rooney to build it. It has not yet been decided whether the road will run through Mason or not. The Lansing direotors oppose it, but the balance of the board will ontvote thern if Mason raieès the required bonus or if Lausiug does not outbid the Masonites. Director Birkett, of Dexter, expresses ooufidence in the building of the road. A surveyorhas been engaged to make an official survey and profile of the whole route.
