Allen returns tbis week to his home in Seattle, Wasb. Mrs. R. Ingersoll is preparing to move to Dnrand in a few days. Mrs. O. P. Newcomb and son have returued from Nevada, Missouri. Mr. and Mrs. Qeo. Minto are entertaining guests from Toledo this week. Mts. Webb Blaokmer returned from her Fowlerville visit Friday afternoon. Milan is to celébrate the Fourth of July this year in the good old fashioned way. Mrs. Cbapin and daughter Florence visited friends in the country this week. M. Barnes has returned to his home in Elkhart after a few days' visit with old friends. Mrs. Alice Trnssell and danghter are moving into one of J. Blakeslee'shouses on Gay st. this week. Mr. and Mrs. Preston Ronse ant daugbter Florenoe, of Saline, visited Milan friends Sunday. Rev. and Mrs. Killan received a pleasant surprise Tuesday in the shape of pounds of remembrance. Messrs. Needham and Young and their respeotive families rode on thei wheels to Bellevile Sunday. Prof. Clarenoe Wisdnm is here from the north and is the guest of bis par ents Mr. and Mrs. A. Wisdom. Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Noble, of De troit, are the guests of Attorney anc Mrs. Q. R. Williams this week. Died, at his home near Milan, early Sunday morning, D. Ailesworth, aged 94 years. Deoeased leaves a large oir cle of friends who will deeply mourn his loss.
