Washington, June 4. - The sen&te has agreed to substitute the Wolcott amendment to the war revenue bilí for the finance committee provisión in regard to the eoinage of the silver Beigniorage to the extent of $42.000,000 which is to be the amount flrst coined. The vote stood 48 to 31. The Wolcott amendment adopted provides for the eoinage of all the silver bullion now held in the treasury at a rate of not less than $4,000,000 a month and the issue on account of theseigniorage derived cf not exceeding $42,000,000 In silver certiflcates. The senate agreed to the amendment of the Republican minority of the finance committee substituting a bond provisión for greenbacks as reported by the majority. Vote was 45 to 31. Washington, June 6. - The senate passed the war revenue bilí after defeating Morgan's amendment to tax incomes.
