First Time Since Civil War

Montgomery, Ala., July 5.- For the first time since the civil war the Fourth was celebrated with enthusiásm in this city, the birthplace of the secession movement. Cannon and crackers boomed during the day and at night a handsome fireworks display was sent up from the steps of the capítol where Jefferson Davis took the oath of office.
