Knoxville, Tenn.. July 12.- J. D. Strickland was shot and fatally woundd from ambush at Briceville, in the mining district njr here, Sunday. fürong evldence pointed to Jim Brown, a íellow miner of Strickland, and he is beid without batl. The men quarreled three days ago.
