It is suggested thaton Jau. lst, 1900, a new división of the year iuto 13 months be instituted. If sucb a división be made thfi first 12 montbs would have 28 days, or four weeks eaob, and the new mouth 29 days, to make np 365 and 30 in leap years. After a few days there would be no need to refer to oalendars, as the same day of the week ■would have the same date through the year. If Jan. lst wera say, Monday, every Monday woold be the Ist, 8th, 15th and23d; every Tuesday the ad, 9th, 16th and 23d and so on through the year.
