The diamond Is full of phosphorus. This quality has been known for centurles, and still there are many who do not know it. That Is the reason often that gleams of light are seen issuIng from the stone in the dark. To thls quality alone attaches a great deal of value. The most phosphoreacent stouo Is the one that is the best cut. If there is phosphorus in the stone it is greatly enhanced by proper cutting, so that lts scintillating facultles are lncreased.
