An appeal bas tbis week been taken ín the will case of tbe late Richard Webb, of Lyndon township, from the order of Probate Jndge Newkirk last May admittinp the will to probate. Bichard Webb died at North Laks in tbis county, Nov. 30, 1897, leavins a ■will dated March 10 previoos, in wbioh be ent off one of his dangbters, Mrs. Anna Stephenson with 100 and a share of tbe noueehold goodsof his firpt wife. The balance of the estáte was divided eqnally between his eight other oren alter malnng provisión for his wife. Mrs. Stephenson appeals on tbe ground of nudue inflnenoe being osed to secure a rednction of Ler share and aleo that at the time of the execntion of tne will Mr. Webb was not mentally competent to make a will. Mr. Webb was 78 years oíd at the time of making the will and it is said that his wife, a stepmotber of Mrs. Stephenson, had previously been in tbis oity to see abont having a gnardian áppbinted for -him bnt did not do so, and he was told that his danghter Mrs. Stephenson was at the bottom of tbe a$tempt. The estáte íb valned at ï 7,000.
