Times: Wtn. H and Nellie Salyer, by their attorney, M. J. Cavanangb, have filed an answer to tbe bilí of the Harón Valley Savings Association aeking tbe circnit conrt to give possession to said associatioD of certain premises now held and ooonpied by the defendauts. As the oase involves the constitntionality of fines imposed by a loan assoeiation it promises to b an important one. The answer of the defendant sets np that he pnrchased the premise in question for the snm of $3,600 on tbe 4th day of Marcb, 1898, and tbat be has sicce that datepaid installments and interest on tbe same to the amount of 116, and that tbe fines whioh according to the claims of the oompany now make tbe total indebtednes $3,859.30 are nnreasonable and extortionate.
