E. S. Hagaman was in Toledo Tbnrsday on business. Miss Julia Kirohhofer is attending summer sohool at Ann Arbor. Mts. T. B. Bailey and ohildren are visitiug friends in Minneapolis. Misses Alma and Lonise Schmid are visiting tbeir aunt Mrs. Vogel, of Toledo. Miss Lena Kenozler is home from Ann Arbor where she is a olerk in Maok & Co. 's store. Mrs. J. E. Teeter and Mrs. Pickett went to Blisefield Tbnrsday to visit relativas over Sunday. New oement walks are being laid in front of the residenoes ocoupied by Miss Bodine and Ed Brown. E. M. Teeter, E. S. Hagaman, and Fred Haschle went on a fishing exonrsion to Twin Lakes Monday. Episoopal servioes wero held in the Baptist cburoh Sunday evening, Rev. Blatohford, of Clinton, offioiating. A. F. Freeman and family are enjoying an onting at Hev. D. R. Shier's snmmer house on the St. Clair river. As Joseph Howard was driving the sprinkling wagon along Main st. last Friday the axletree broke, throwing Mr. Howard to the groand, injuring his rigbt hand. The team ran up the street overturning a bnggy but was soon oanght.
