Mrs. Ella Eaton retonied home last week. Ed Beaoh spent Satarday night in Ann Arbor. Jim Dancer had a oow killed during the storm Monady morning. Mr. Dave Lniok spent part of Satarday and Sanday in Ann Arbor. Mrs. H. Wilson and children have gone to Illinois to spend a few weeks. Mrs. Fannie Freer is entertaining her sister and husband froin Chicago. Several from here attended an ice cream social at Mr. Kuhl's last Wednesday. Ernest Caeterline, from Webster, spent Sunday with nis sister Mrs. A. Wenk. About 30 of the ladies gave Mrs. Kate Neihaus a surprise last Tuesday afternoon. Tom Morse had two oows killed by ligbtning during the storm Monday afternoon. Rev. A. B. Storms, froni Detroit, spent part of last week here with his fathei and sisters. Charley Hanohett, from Jackson, bas been speuding a few days with Mrs. O. B. Gcerin and family. Charles Hanchett, ArlGuerin.Estella Gnerin and Bertha Spencer spent last Friday at Base Lake - guests of Mrs. W. H. Gnerin. There will be a sooial in Mr. Kingater's woods Wednesday afternoon and evening. The Lima Band has been engaged to play. Charles Hanchett, Arl Guerin, Estella Guerin and Bertha Spencer spent Saturday afternoon in Ann Arbor and took snpper with Mr. and Mrs. H. G. Prettyman.
