Mrs. Charles Whebler and soir George are visiting friends at Diamondaie. Mrs. Snsie Wheeler and son Gny are vi8iting friends in Eaton oounty this week. Lester Vanfleet and wife, of Dexter,. visited with Mr. and Mrs. Bert Moore Saturday. Miss Cora Lamphear entertained her friend, Mr. Butler, of Hamburg, last Sunday. Mrs. Patrick Kearney is entertaiuing ber sister Mrs. Parrell, of Detroit, for a few weeks. Rev. Binghamer and family, of Hopkins station, are visiting at the home of Gottlieb Mast. Henry Conely is huilding a new bouse. Looks as if he was preparing to keep bacbelor's Lall. Joseph Todd and wife are preparing to move on the farm of the late ïiuman Lake near Hamburg. Mrg. A. Burnett aud obildcen, of Jaokson, are visiting at the home oL Will and Nellie Burnett. Truiaan Lake died at his home near Hamburg July 2. Mr. Lake was the father of Mrs. Joseph Todd, of Webster. .Toe Green was quite seriously injured about the head while working on the farm of J. Coyle by coming in too close oontact with a pi tchfork.
