Death Of Hiram Kittredge

Hiram Kittredge, a well known oitizeu of Ann Arbor, for very rnany years a familiar figure on uar streets, dien of heart failure last Priday. His deatb was endden and unexpeoted althciugh he had several sinking spells. He was aronnd appaiently iu good health the evening befure his death. H9 veas over 75 years of age and was born near Utioa, N. V. He grew to manhood in New York and carne to Ann Arbor m 1842. Ten years later be went to California, where he was engaged ia ruining and teamiug for several years. In 1862 be retnrued to this oity. Be bnilt a handsome brick livery iu 1879 and since his retirernent from the livery business has been eugaged in tearuing and house moviug. He was married iu 1803 to Miss Cornelia Weeks, who sorvives bim with one son and three daughters, who reside in this city, exoepting one danghter who lives in Grand Rapids. Tbe funeral sarvices were held on Snnday.
