Soldiers Don't Need Stamps
According to a provisión of one of the postal laws, any letter written by a member of either the United States Army or Navy, and marked, "Soldier's letter," "Sailor's letter" or "Marine's letter," and signed thereunder by a íield or staff ofRcer, post or detachment commander, or by a surgeon or chaplain, and in the navy by the offlcer or surgeon in charge, will be forwarded by the government, charged with postage due at single rates, to be collected on delivery. The knowledge of this privilege will be a boon to the warrior lads when they run out of their supplies of postage stamps.-
