The movement to nomínate the Hon. John Sherman for congress in the Mansfleld district has a formidable appearance. Long-time friends as well as traditional enernie3 ssem to be in favor of nis nomination. The motives oí hls enemies, though, ought to be suspected. There are candidates they want to kill. They think Mr. Snerman Is the club. They would not regard it as much of an honor for a man who has been a senator of the United States so long, and a member of two cabinets, and a very prominent candidate for the presirlency, to take a seat In the house of representatives in his advanced age. On the contrary, they might regard it as a humiliation.- Cincinnati Enquirer.
