Madrid, Aug. 9. - Spain sent her answer accftpting all the terms of peace proposed by' President McKinley to Paris. It went to Mr. Marry Del Val, who will transmit it to Washington. Del Val is one of the pope's personal chamberlains now in the diplomatic corps at Paris. The ansvver declares that Spain cannot discuss the proposals, but accepts them because they are imposed on her by force. It leaves the following questions to be decided by the peace commissioners. The Cuban debt; the date and manner of evacuating Cuba and Porto Rico; the protêction of Spanish interests and Spaniards there; whether Spain shall withdraw heYarms, ammunition and artillery now in Cuba and Porto Rico, and the future of the Philippiiïs. Sagasta has had a conference with the queen regent. Her majesty approves the general lines of the reply of Spain to America's peace terms, which Senor Sagasta explained to her. The government believes that the United States -will accept Spain's answer, which will certainly reach the White House by Tuesday. When the United States accepts, hostilities will immediately be suspended. The cabinet councll tjsrminated at 10 o'clock, after having eompletely confirmed the reply to the United States, accepting the American conditions.
