Mrs. Elizabeth J. Baboock died at ïer home on División st. , very suddeny Tnesday morning froin apoplexy, ged 87 years. She was tbe mother of as. L. Babcook with whoui she lived. Vir. and Mrs. Babcook were in Wanjesba, Wis., at the time of her death, ut started for home immediately on eceipt of the sad news. .Mrs. Babcock rose Tuesday rnorning and seemed bont as usual, buc she shortly aftervards went back to bed and when the irl went to flnd out if anything was ;he matter eha found her unconscioua nd breathing heavily. Medical aaistance was surumoned but she dieá within 10 minutes. She was born in Goshen, Mass., and her father, John ames, was descended ifroru anoestors Who came over with tbe Pilgrim Tathers and settled near Plymoutb, béng connected by family ties with Miles Standisb. The funeral services were held yesterday.
