Mrs. J. Clark and Eva visited Toledo Wednesday. J. C. Ronse spent Monday and Tuesday in Ann Arbor. Miss Lelia Kelly has retnrned frorn her Fort Wayne visit. Miss Leona Clark entertained guests from Manchester over Snnday. The Baptist pionio in Haok's grove Tuesday was a success in every way. Everyone is wishing for rain as the streets and gardens are dry and dusty. The Presbyterian sewing cirole met at Mrs. E. W. Blaokmer'son Wilcox st. Tuesday afternoon. W. W. Watts and wife, of Ann Arjor, spent Snnday with Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Whitraarsh. Mrs. Wm.Hoyt, of Saline, is seriousy ill with heatt disease at her danghter's, Mrs. H. Sill'a. Mrs. ,T. Spragne, of Ann Arbor, is the nest of her daughter Mrs. G. R. Wiliams for a few weeks. Prof. and Mrs. C. M. Fnller enter;ained guests from Ann Arbor and Mooreville over Sunday. Rev. McKay, of Rollin, preached at :he Baptist oharch Sunday evening and will also preaoh there next Sunday. A party of Milanites leave for Whitmore Lake the last of this week where hey will camp and fish a few days. Rev. Wm. C. Maohett, of Preble, N. Y, will preach at the Presbyterian ohuroh Sunday morning and evening. Prof. and Mrs. C. H. Carriok and amily and W. F. Allen and faraily iave retarned from their camping expedition. Wm. Hanson and family have moved 'rom Bowling Green, Ohio, to Milan where they will make their home for the present.
