Deed Of A Despondent Mother

New York, Aug. 28.- Mrs. Kate Mangan, 28 years uld, of 3052 Third avenue, at 1 o'clock in the morning, killed herself and her two children, Catherine, 4 years of age, and James V., 18 months old, by means of illuminating gas. She had been despondent for some time. The bodies were found by James Mangan, the husband of the woman.
