A Gasoline Explosion

i-nrongn an accidental explosión oí gasolina in' the Hay & Todd underwear 'aotory in this city late yesterday afternoon Charles Crandall, son of the oaieaker of the athlttio fleld, was severely jurned about the body, anus and face. In the procees of mannfacturing the onderwaar gasoline is nsed for washing out the material. The washing room is not far from the engine room, bot is at all times seperated from it by heavy ron doors. Yesterday, however, soine careless person left the doors epen and, t was not long before the gasoline omes from the partially dried cloth ronnd their way to the door of the fire)ox to the engine. An explosión folowed, the fire from which ran into the wash room. All the boys bnt young Crandall ran from it, bnt he stood still. A second explosión followed, at his 'eet, and he was enveloped in flamea whioh were, however, qnickly estinguished. He is qnite badly burned bnt will reoover.
