Boat Burns On Lake Erie

Toledo, O., Sept. 20.- The sand-sucker, Maud Preston, belonging to Captain Gillespi, burned on Maumee bay, flve miles from the city. The crew escaped in boats. The boat was insured for $3,000, which Is said to fully cover the loss. She was towing the barge Fostorla into the harbor, but the latter escaped wlti oul iniury.
