Lee May Occupy Havana
wasnington, Uct. . - Major General Fitzhugh Lee was at thé war department. IL there is no pressure for his mmediate return to Jacksonville he intends, af ter going to New York for a short visit, to spend a few days in the Virginia mountains upon the recommundation of his physician. General Lee has been suffering soraewhat from malaria. In official circles there seems no doubt that General Lee is scheduled to go to Cuba. Some question has arisen, however, as to the post in Cuba that he wil] occupy. Quite a number of public men, and probably General Lee himself, would prefer that his command go to Havana. Some sentiment is in the matter and many persons have expressed the hope that as Blanco marches out General Lee might march into the city. A number of men in official ife have already interested themselves in this subject and will urge the president to issue his orders for the occupation of Cuba with this end in view.
