Privates Take Revenge

Macón, Ga., Oct. 4.- The men in the First Georgia volunteers, who were mustered out Saturday, are relieving their pent-up feelings by trying to thrash their offiers for alleged indignities during their term of service. Private Phelps of Sumter county met Lieutenant Thomas of nis company and said: "Tou cursed me at Chickamauga. Now is my time to curse." This was followed by several rapid blows from the private. The officer did not get a chance to defend himself before there was interferen.ee. Several officers are being sougrht by the privates.
