Village Happenings: Whittaker

Whittaker.
Farmers are "a shucking of the corn."
Carl W. Lowe is "courting" at Ann Arbor.
Muriel Bordine is working at Lee Vedder's while Mrs. Vedder is absent on a visit to Detroit.
Rev. J. E. Renner and family are attending the Evangelical District Ministerial meeting at Carleton this week.
Nimrods are numerous around here at present, the amount of ammunition waster would almost make lead running profitable.
And still they come. A little son arrived at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Weidman, a little daughter at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Gable, and after about six months absence Foster Kilapatrick came home to his family. All of the arrivals have been since Saturday.
