Vince Gray is entertaining his brother Jim, of Grand Traverse.

Mrs. Snyder is moving into Fred Sohaible's house in Ease Manchester.

Miss Emma Welling, of Tecumseh, visited her parents Mr. and Mrs. H. Clark over Sunday.

The Manchester Historical Club met Saturday afternoon with Miss Julia Kirohhofer to plan for the work of the coming year.

Miss Belle Gordanier visited Miss Isabel Millen, of Wolf Lake, last week and attended the Harvest Festival at Grass Lake.

Miss Anna Fausel has returned from Grass Lake where she bas been for a few weeks assisting Dr. Chadwick in bis dental office.

It bas been rumored that the members of the Baptist church have become discouraged and are in favor of selling the church property and disbanding, but such a report is entirely without foundation.

The W. R. C. gave a pleasant social entertainment in their hall Saturday evening. The refreshments consisted mainly of army fare, beans, hardtack and coffee. The proceeds, which were nearly $10, will go to help maintain a hospital for the boys in the south.
