Henry Samson visited friends in Chelsea Monday. Eev. Charles A. Carter has removed to Benton Harbor. William Weinmann and family have removed to Detroit. Herbert TenDy, of Co. G, is home on a ten days' farlough. Miss Edna Barnom, of Jackson, spent SunĂ³ay in Ypsilanti. Miss L8ah Spencer, of Detroit, visited her parents over Sunday. Mrs. Baxter, of' Mason, is visiting her brother Prof. Austin George. Miss Mabel McCullough has returned from a month's visit in Detroit. Mr. and Mis. B. Insrabam, of Dundee, visited in the city last week. - Miss Florence Haskell, of Detroit, visited in Ypsilanti over Snnday. Mre. R. K. Wharton has returned from a month's visit in Chicago. Mrs. L. Shay, of Benton Haibor, is visiting her sister Miss Abbie Roe. Miss Josephine Smith, of Algonac, ia visiting Miss Florence Batchelder. George Kenny, Charles Hyzer and Ernest Phillips are home from Knoxville on furlonghs. Miss Josephine Smith, who has been visiting Miss Florence Battobelder, retorued to Algonac Tpesday. J. H. Phillips and brother D. C. Phillips left Wednesday for a two weeks' hnnting trip at Tawas and Cneboygan. Hon. Edwin F. Uhl, ex-maypr of Grand Rapids, and daughter Miss Edwina, spent last Sanday in tbe oity with friends. Mr. Uhl is an old Ypsilanti boy, and was at one time proseonting attorney of Washtenaw connty, being very popular nn account of the upright, honorable way in whicb he practiced nis profession.
