Estate of Hascal Laraway.

STATE OF MICHIGAN, COUNTY OF Washtenaw, ss. At a session of the Probate Court for the County of Washtenaw, holden at the Probate Office in the City of Ann Arbor, on Monday, the 5th day of December, in the year one thousand eight hundred and ninety-eight.

Present, H. Wirt Newkirk, Judge of Probate.

In the matter of the estate of Hascal Laraway, deceased.

On reading and filing the petition, duly verified, of J. B. Laraway, praying that the administration of said estate may be granted to himself or some other suitable person.

Thereupon it is ordered that Saturday, the 31st day of December next, at 10 o'clock in the forenoon, be assigned for the hearing of said petition, and that the heirs at law of said deceased and all other persons interested in said estate are required to appear at a session of said Court, then to be holden at the Probate Office, in the City of Ann Arbor, and show cause if any there be, why the prayer of the petitioner should not be granted. And it is further ordered that said petitioner give notice to the persons interested in said estate, of the pendency of said petition, and the hearing thereof, by causing a copy of this order to be published in the Ann Arbor Argus-Democrat; a newspaper printed and circulated in said county three successive weeks previous to said day of hearing. --H. Notice to Creditors.

STATE OF MICHIGAN, COUNTY OF Washtenaw, ss. Notice is hereby given that by an order of the Probate Court for the County of Washtenaw, made on the 3rd day of November, A. D. 1808, six months from that date were allowed for creditors to present their claims against the estate of Phebe A. Wheelock, late of said County, deceased, and that all creditors of said deceased are required to present their claims to said Probate Court, at the Probate Office in the City of Ann Arbor, for examination and allowance, on or before the 3rd day of May next, and that such claims will be heard before said Court on the 3rd day of February and on the 3rd day of May, 1899, next, at ten o'clock in the forenoon of each of said days. Mortgage Sale.

DEFAULT HAVING BEEN MADE IN THE conditions of a mortgage made by Alta M. Adams to Nellie L. Tyler, dated Sept. 22nd 1897, and recorded in the Office of the Register of Deeds for the County of Washtenaw, and State of Michigan, on the 22nd day of September, A. D. 1897, in liber 89 of mortgage on page 375, on which mortgage there is claimed to be due at the of this notice the sum of two hundred and twenty-seven dollars and sixteen cents and an attorney's fee of fifteen dollars provided for in said mortgage, and no suit or proceeding at law having been instituted to recover the moneys secured by said mortgage, or any part thereof.

Now, therefore, by virtue of the power of sale contained in such mortgage, and the statute in such case made and provided, notice is hereby given that on Saturday, the 14th day of January, A. D. 1899, at ten o'clock in the forenoon, the mortgagee will sell at public auction, to the highest bidder at the east front door of the Court House in the City of Ann Arbor, (that being the place where the Circuit Court for Washtenaw County is holden), the premises described in said mortgage, or so much thereof as may be necessary to pay the amount due on said mortgage, with eight per cent interest, and all legal costs, together with an attorney's fee of fifteen dollars as covenanted therein, the said premises being described in said mortgage as Lots number fifteen and sixteen in Krause's Addition to the City of Ann Arbor, according to the recorded plat thereof, and being in Washtenaw County, Michigan. Commissioners' Notice.

STATE OF MICHIGAN, COUNTY OF Washtenaw, ss. The undersigned having been appointed by the Probate-Court for said County, Commissioners to receive, examine and adjust all claims and demands of all persons against the estate of David Allmendenger, late of said County, deceased, hereby give notice that six months from date are allowed, by order of said Probate Court, for creditors to present their claims against the estate of said deceased, and that they will meet at the late residence of said deceased in the Town of Scio, in said County, on Monday the 16th day of January, and on Monday the 17th day of April next. at ten o'clock A. Noah W. Cheever, executor of the last will and testament of said deceased, comes into court and represents that he is now prepared to render his annual account as such executor.

Thereupon it is ordered that Saturday, the 7th day of January next at ten o'clock in the forenoon, be assigned for examining and allowing such account, and that the devisees, legatees and heirs at law of said deceased, and all other persons interested in said estate, are required to appear at a session of said Court, then to be holden at the Probate Office, in the City of Ann Arbor, in said County, and show cause, if any there be, why the said account should not be allowed.
