John Poll, of the' Ypsilanti woolen mili, is serving a 30 days' sentence in jail on the charge of the larceny'of some jewelry from the home of Lester Amerman nsar Rawsonville. He stole two watches and other jewelry and was ├╝aught throngh taking the watches to a ewelry store. He confessed to larceny, nut he denied setting fire to the honse, svhich strangely enough was destroyed by flre imrnediately after the btirglary. Theie was no one at home at the time uid no known chance f or a fire, ex;ept by incendiarism. Poll wasre;eived at the jail today.
