In the chancery case of Margaret Gallagher, of Coralina, vs. Philip Duffy aud Michael Dnffy, of Northfleld. the complainant has filed het auswer to the defendants cross bill. The bill was filed to recover her alleged interest in a certain 40 acres of land occnpied by her brothers in Northfield. In her answer she denies the defendants allesration that her father John Duffy never had auy title to the land described in her bill, bnt says that he became seized and possessed of said laud and held the sanie in fee. She further denies tbat Philip Duffy imd Miohael Duffy obt'ained any title of the land by adverse possession of the premises, but claims that Philip Duffy and Michael Dnffy and herself have been and remain tenants in comraon. In the case of Peter W. Shutte vs. Norman B. Trim the time for settling the bill of exceptions has been extended 60 days. Application in the case of James A. Hammond complainant vs. Mary E. Hammond defendant was filed.
