Celluloid Gear Cases

Celluloid gear cases have been introduced this year, and one or two curious instances of their accidentally catching fire have been reported.
In one instance the smoldering ashes from a pipe falling upon the celluloid ignited.
As the rider was a man, his clothing escaped being set on fire.
