By invitaticn a number of their older relatives were present. The beantiful home of Mr. aud Mrs. Mack was decorated with palms aud other potted plaats aud ept íiowers: An elegant supper was served. Later in the eveniug the pastor of tl e conple Kev. Mr. Nicklas, and the church choir, led by tjieir director Louis Boes, arrived and sang appropriate hyrnns. Rev. Nicklas read the text, 1 John, II, 28. Tbis was the same text use by Rev. Frederick Schimd, whon he officiated at the wedding of bis daughter Marie and Christian Mack, 40 years ago. The pastor prayed and spoke a few appropriate words for the occasion, in which he said the wishes of all present were that the choicest blcssiugs might rest upon, and many years of health, be given to, Mr. and Mrs. Mack. Frederick Schmid and Mrs. Sophie Hutzel Spring, the best man aud brides maid of 40 years ago were present, and mauy reminiscences of the wedding were related. The guests left the hospitable home with the sinceresfc good wishes for the host and hostess.
