Election Notice.

Michigan Department of State, Lansing, Jan. 20, 1899.

To the Sheriff of the county of Washtenaw:

Sir--You are herby notified that at the general election to be held in this state, on the first Monday in April next, the following officers are to be elected, viz. :

A Justice of the Supreme Court in place of Claudius B. grant, whose term of office expires December 31, 1899; also two Regents of the University of Michigan, in place of Peter N. Cook and Eli R. Sutton, whose terms of office expire December 31, 1899.

Also, a Circuit Judge for the twenty-second Judicial Circuit, to which your country is attached, in place of Edward D. Kinne, whose term of office will expire December 31, 1899.

In testimony whereof, I have hereunto set my hand, and affixed the Great Seal of the state of Michigan, at Lansing, the day and year first above written.
