He Thinks American Justice is all Right.

Au Argus reporter called on Wah-Lee yesterday and found him busily engaged with his laundry work. When asked what he thought of American justice he grinned all over his face and said: "Amelican justice all ligtee. They treat Chinaman good I havee satisfaction, Lally Ross payee me no money for washee." When asked if he would go to collect his money again, he looked grave and in a minute said, "No, I send some some bodee. No want he kuockee my eye again." When asked what punishment would have been given for such an offense as was perpetrated upon him in his own country, he said, "two, three year, sent up." Wah was feeling very amiable this morning, pleased with himself as it were. When the Argus man departed Wah bade him a most kindly good-bye.
