    Mrs. B. Kahl continues very ill.

    Mrs. John Jones is very sick at Sharon Center.

    Kittie Pierce was sick a few days last week.

    Albert Trolz is cutting wood for E. M. Pierce.

     Miss Minnie Uphans is staying at E. W. Crafts tor the summer.

   Miss Louie Buss is staying at E. M. Pierce's for the summer.

    David Du Bois has moved in Richard Du Bois' house in Sharon Hollow.

    Merrick Burch and wife have returned from Grand Rapids.

     Miss Anna S. Kuhl visited in Norvell a few days this week.

    Mrs. John Rice is able to be out after a severe attack of La Grippe.

    Mrs. Rhodes, of North Sharon, is suffering from a severely burned arm.

    Mrs. Mowry A. Pierce was confined to the house for several days with a bad cold.

    Mrs. William Trolz and Mrs. Albert Trolz spent Wednesday at Charles Walker's.

    Ben Landwehr and family have removed from Sharon to the town of Freedom.

     Mr. and Mrs. Edward M. Pierce attended a surprise at John Landwehr's on Saturday, April 8.

    John Haeussler, who was badly injured in a runaway a short time ago, is on the gain.

     Several of our young people will attend a social party at George Roschon's this evening.

    John Knhl, of Sharon Hollow bas bought 15 acres of land of Mr. Kempf, of Chelsea.

   Mr. and Mrs. Omer Nordman enter- tained a company of friends at cards on Friday evening.

    L. S. Hulbert bas returned home from Ann Arbor, where he has been taking treatment at the U. of M. hospital.

   Floyd O. Pardee bas returned to school at Detroit after spending his vacation with his parents Mr. and Mrs. Charles Pardee.

   On Saturday, April 8, about 100 of the friends and relatives of Mr. and Mrs. John Landwehr gathered at their home to join with them in celebrating the 25th anniversary of their marriage. They were the recipients of costly presents in remembrance of the high esteem in which they are held. After spending the day the friends departed wishing them many years of happiness.
