J, Arraugemeuts were made to help make the fair this fall a greater success thau ever before. The time of holding the fair waschanged to Oct. 3, 4, 5 and 6. The fonner date would have conflicted with the opening week of the university and also a number of fairs in adjacent places. Albert O. Schumacher, of the drug firm of Schuinacher & Miller, was appointed as a committee to solicit special premiums for the schools. This was last year a very popular feature, and of' great interest to the school children throughont the conuty. Secretary F. E. Mills, Eugene Helber, editor of the Neue Post and Fred Chapin were appointed a committee to solicit spi-cial premiums of all kinds. The giving of special premiums will not be coufiued to the city of Ann Arbor, but auybody wherever he or she resides is privileged to give a s; ecial premium. A committee cousisting of Eugene Helber, George F. Allmcndinger and George W. Phelps were appointed to solicit a guarantee fund.
