WAS FATALLY INJURED

A TRANP PAINTER CATCHING A FREIGHT TRAIN

Had three ribs and his hip broken and was injured internally on his third attempt to catch a car.

A tramp painter named A. G. Magg, was badly and probably fatally injured while attempting to get on a fast freight train which passed through Chelsea at 7 o'clock Friday morning. The train was going at the rate of 25 miles an hour. Magg grabbed at the ladders on the passing cars three times. The last time he was partially successful in getting a hold and as a result had three ribs broken, his hip bone broken and was injured internally. He may die. If he recovered from the shock sufficiently he was to be bought to the homeopathic hospital in this city for treatment on the 3 :47 train this afternoon. He is 31 years of age and his residence is Circleville, Ohio, where his father is a retired business man. His father was telegraphed for this morning.
