A New Bank Building

A NEW BANK BUILDING,

Planned for the Farmers and Mechanic Bank.

The Farmers & Mechanics Bank directors are having plans drawn to remodel the block now occupied by Cutting, Reyer & Co., which the bank expects to move into in about a year. The front stairway will be taken out and a single front of glass will be put in both stores. The front of these two stores the bank will occupy and in the rear, facing Washington st. there will be a store, also the stairway and perhaps an elevator to the third floor. When this block is completed it will be one of the finest blocks in the city.
