Last evening Judge W. D. Harriman left Ann Arbor for a trip to Europe. In Detroit he was joined by his son Carl and together they will go to New York from Whence they will sail for London on Thursday. They will spend several months abroad and among other places visited will be Edinborough and Paris. Their headquarters while there will be in London. They expect to be in Paris on the 14th of July. The trip is undertaken entirely for rest and pleasure. While the judge states that pleasure and rest is his only object, there is a well defined rumor that he has a mission for the heirs of Sir John Reade, of Webster, to look up the condition of the English estates on which they have claims, and to see about getting the income for the use of all the heirs instead of Sir George Reade only.
